She brings sensitivity and discretion to all her interactions with students and their families. The goal is to put the student at ease and to foster their love of the piano.
Reliability
At Letterkenny Piano, the year is divided into terms of approximately 8-10 weeks. Students agree a regular time and day for their lesson, to ensure they make steady progress and stay motivated. Lessons are missed by the teacher in exceptional circumstances only. Any time missed by the teacher is either rescheduled or refunded.
Musical Experience
As well as teaching piano lessons, Marita studied in London with mezzo-soprano Miriam Sharrad, to achieve a diploma in Singing Performance from the ABRSM. Marita released an album of original songs in 2012, which received national radio play in Ireland. She has performed music in many venues throughout Ireland and in the UK. Marita also studied cello as an adult beginner, and has an insight into the challenges of being an adult student.
